Description: A317 is a stainless steel electrode with low hydrogen sodium coating. Use DCEP (direct current electrode positive). It has better corrosion, crack, and oxidation resistance than A302 because the deposited metal contains molybdenum.  Application: It is used for welding the same type of stainless steel, composite steel plate and dissimilar steel that are resistant to sulfuric acid medium (sulfur ammonia) corrosion.   Chemical composition of weld metal(%):
